State Committee Meeting
Letter to Chapter Presidents

To All Good Sams of Florida Chapter Presidents:
This letter is to inform you that there will be a State Committee Meeting on Thursday
November 18, 2010 at 3:30 PM at the Wekiva Falls RV Resort in Sorrento, Florida in
conjunction with our Fall Samboree.
With all of our suppliers cutting back on door prized and donations, we will accept help
from the chapters in the way of giving door prizes. I would like to thank everyone for all the
help in volunteering and donating door prized in the past.
Mary Murray, State Secretary will be sending out the Minutes from the February 2010
meeting. Linda Voyton, State Treasurer, will be sending out the treasury report. I am
sending a letter, the agenda and budget proposal for those that have an email address
listed with us. For those WHO don’t I will be mailing a packet by regular mail.
All Chapter Presidents are members of the State Committee and should make every
effort to attend the State Committee Meeting or send a representative from you Chapter.
Your chapter’s input to the State Organization is important. If you are unable to attend the
Committee Meeting and you send a representative in your place, remember to send a letter
signed by you as Chapter President identifying that individual as your appointed
representative. Good Sam of Florida, Inc. Constitution and by-laws Article IX: miscellaneous
section (E) states all chapter presidents, or their designated representative will attend at
least one State Committee meeting each year.
